Two more dividends to end the week

I love heading into the weekend with dividends in hand. Sure, it’s not like I’m going to go out and spend them – I’ll wait until next week when the market’s back open for business for that – but, obviously, they’re nice to have.

They send me into the weekend on a high note … kinda like payday, ya know?

Anyway, I received two more dividends today, my 22nd and 23rd of the month. The combined $0.56 bumped my October total to $14.23 and my 2017 mark to $248.24.

Here’s where the dividends came from …

Leggett Platt

Leggett Platt (LEG), known for making and distributing furniture and engineered components and products among homes, offices, cars and commercial aircraft, passed along a $0.36 dividend. It was my third from the company and second straight for the current quarterly amount.

I own one share of Leggett Platt, which makes up 0.33% of my portfolio.

Franklin Resources

Franklin Resources (BEN), the investment firm, dished out a $0.20 dividend. It was my third from the company. All three have been for the same amount.

I own one share of Franklin Resources, which has jumped 7.26% since purchase. It makes up 0.31% of my portfolio.

March on!
